The problem
They spend the day in chat, meetings and AI tools. The wellbeing app you pay for sits on page three of their phone. And more of them are losing weight than ever, some on GLP-1s, often without the protein or strength work that keeps muscle on.
UK employees don't use the health benefits their employer already pays for.1
adults in Great Britain used weight-loss drugs in the past year, and 3.3 million more want to.2
Up to 40% of the weight lost on GLP-1s can be lean mass: muscle, organ and connective tissue. About a quarter in meta-analyses.3–5
And musculoskeletal problems, like back, neck and joint pain, cause 14.6% of UK sickness absence: the third most common reason.6
How it works
We set PAL up in your Slack or Teams workspace. People can also connect it to the AI assistant they already use.
Type it, say it or snap it. PAL looks up every item in real food data and shows where each number came from.
A walk between meetings, one set of press-ups before 3pm, a one-tap check-in. Never more than ten seconds.

What PAL does
Everything a good health coach would nudge, in the place your people already are.

Type it, say it or snap it. Every number shows its source.

"Chicken wrap or the pastry?" Straight answers from real food data.

Timed around meetings. Snooze any time.

Two short sessions a week and one-minute sets between meetings.

Sleep, stress and mood. One tap each, answered privately.

Team challenges people actually want to win.

Every Friday: one pattern spotted, one change, streaks celebrated.

Dinner, the gym, the weekend. Same PAL, same diary.
Muscle protection
Muscle keeps people strong, upright and full of energy at work, and weight loss can cost it. PAL isn't after more workouts. It nudges the minimum that protects muscle:
LeanShield™, our patent-pending muscle-protection score, was built in scientific collaboration with Professor Nick Wareham, Director of the Cambridge Institute of Metabolic Science. A randomised controlled trial is in design with his team at the University of Cambridge.
We'd rather prove it than claim it. That's what the trial is for.

Real food data
General AI chatbots guess the numbers. PAL uses AI to understand what people say, then looks every item up in food databases and shows the source. Anything estimated is labelled as an estimate.
"A banana and a protein bar? Roughly 400 calories."
Private by design
People only use a health tool at work if they trust it. So employers get team totals, never individuals, and anything sensitive goes through private forms rather than chat history.

And after work
Dinner, the gym, the weekend. People can log outside work too, by voice, photo or text, and see their LeanShield score and strength workouts. Same PAL. Same diary.

Founding pilots
We set PAL up for one team, in the tools they already use. After 30 days you see the team totals: how many people used it, how often, and what moved. Then you decide.
Why a pilot? Because the only wellbeing number that matters is whether people use it. You should see yours before you commit.

Questions
No. PAL is a direct message in Slack or Teams, or a connector in the AI assistant they already use. The ParrotPal app, live today, is there for anyone who wants it outside work.
Team totals only, for groups above a minimum size: how many people use PAL, check-in rates, steps and similar trends. Never an individual's food, answers, weight or health details.
No. PAL is a wellbeing service, not a medical device, and it doesn't diagnose or treat anything. People on medication, including GLP-1s, should keep following their clinician's advice. Whether someone is on a GLP-1 stays private to them.
We're rolling PAL out across Slack, Microsoft Teams, Claude, Codex and Grok, plus any AI assistant that supports MCP, through one connector. Pilots are open now.
UK Government CoFID data, USDA and verified brand data. PAL uses AI to understand what people say, not to invent the numbers, and any estimate is labelled as one.
Per employee, per month, with founding pricing for pilot teams. We'll walk you through it on the call and size it to your team.
