Tesco’s most-logged own-label food is sandwiches and wraps

Tesco own label reached 31.3% of UK ParrotPal members, more than any other supermarket. Among them, the most-logged Tesco own-label foods were sandwiches and wraps (17.4%), bread and toast (12.6%) and chicken breast (11.8%).

Share of its own-label loggersThe single most-logged Tesco own-label product was medium eggs (4.6% of Tesco own-label loggers), then blueberries (4.3%) and plain tortilla wraps (4.2%).
Own label covers Tesco, Tesco Finest and Tesco’s other own brands, as members logged them. Food types group many products (every Tesco sandwich counts as “sandwiches and wraps”), so they rank higher than any single product.
Logging isn’t buying: these are the Tesco own-label foods that made it into members’ diaries, not sales.

A share is the share of members in the group who logged the item at least once, so it counts people, not entries. Tesco own label means items whose brand is Tesco or a Tesco own brand. Shares are of members who logged at least one Tesco own-label item.
